Library Garden Beautification

Come join the fun as the Fairfield Beautification Commission hosts its annual fall cleanup at the Fairfield Public Library on October 19. The library's landscaping is in need of tidying up, and all volunteers are welcome to join in the effort. Bring your energy and enthusiasm, plus clippers, weeders and spades (the library has some garden tools if you don't have your own). Volunteers can take home a free cap with the city of Fairfield logo on it.

Fall Trail Drive Through

This Fall our Annual Trail Drive Through will start off at the Cedar View Trail at 32nd Street. Drivers will then go south onto the Loop Trail for three miles until they reach the Maasdam Barns off Highway One. This once-a-year drive-thru is a favorite for many people, especially those individuals who are not able to walk or bike our beautiful trails. There is no charge for this event.

Raptology - Jefferson County Conservation

Must be 4 years and older to attend!
Head to the nature center to meet some cool raptors. Raptology will present a program featuring 2 of our avian partners. You’ll learn about each bird, why they are in captivity, species traits and individual personalities as well as general information about raptors. Program will run 30-40 minutes with time after for more questions and a closer look at the birds. For the best interest of the birds the program is open to ages 4-adult.
