Finances 101 -- Plan for expenses after HS graduation - including college

Finances 101 is  a workshop primarily for Fairfield High School  seniors and parents.  Younger FHS students  who are looking ahead to their future are also welcome with their parents.   The night will consist of students using an online banking calculator  to compare different educational choices they have after high school graduation. The purpose is for the students to view decisions from a factual standpoint -- including potential salaries of careers that interest them and the costs of being trained for that position.  Comparisons can be made for different scenarios -- including certification type programs, two-year and four-year colleges, as well as post graduate work.   Amber (Stump) McDowell will share advice on financial decisions after high school graduation.  She is the Vice President/Director of Marketing from Libertyville Savings Bank.
