Workshop Performance - Hammock: A Lazy Musical

Fred Gratzon has been creating the musical he calls Hammock: A Lazy Musical. This musical is loosely based on Fred's book The Lazy Way to Success: How to Do Nothing and Accomplish Everything. Fred has written the lyrics and libretto for this musical and recently teamed with local composer Carol Negro who is adding the music.

Fairfield Goodwill Hosts Day of Easter Fun for the Whole Family

The Fairfield Goodwill store will host a day of promotions and Easter fun on Saturday, April 20th from 10 am to 4 pm.  An Easter egg hunt for kids will start promptly at 10 am.  Adults can take part in an all-day Easter egg hunt and can expect to find great savings throughout the store including manager specials and sidewalk sales.  The grown-ups can also enter a drawing to win an adult Easter basket.  Shoppers of all ages will also have the chance to visit with the Easter bunny and meet Smiling G, the Goodwill mascot.

Open to all Fairfield Area Chamber Member Businesses who are actively hiring employees for long term positions & summer jobs.

The Chamber of Commerce and Fairfield High School are inviting all hiring Fairfield Area Chamber Member Businesses to the Application Day on Wednesday, May 1st. Any student who who will be atleast 16 years of age by the end of the school year will be excused from the last hour of their school day to interact & apply with potential future employers. Businesses should be ready to engage with students about job positions they have available and students will be encouraged to come with a resume in hand. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, April 10th at 5:00pm. You may register online or email Chelsey at Events@FairfieldIowa.com.

84th Annual Tulip Time - Pella
